My experience

I am an educationalist who has a deep understanding of schools. I have worked at different levels including secondary, further and higher education.

As a qualified teacher, I have held a number of managerial roles in the Yorkshire region overseeing Citizenship, Personal, Social & Health Education, Careers and Religious Education.

As E-Safety manager at Yorkshire Humber Grid For Learning, I developed my understanding of digital safeguarding and have continued this work at Rotherham Council and as a freelance consultant.

I also have a passion for technology and have been involved in a number of projects in the region highlighting the positive use of technology in teaching and learning.

Recent work

  • Kodo Education: Curriculum resources, online training package, model policy and blog posts for KS3 & 4 covering online radicalisation
  • ICT4C: Curriculum packages for KS3/4/5 covering online radicalisation, sexting, video games
  • Barnardos (Rotherham): Contract work to support CSE Project in Rotherham. Regular training for staff and development work around harmful sexual behaviour.
